How to operate various chemical pumps?

There are many types of chemical pumps, and our company specializes in producing chemical centrifugal pumps.

 

Taking chemical centrifugal pumps as an example, explain the precautions for operation:

 

1. Before starting the pump, the pump should be filled with enough liquid to be transported, and starting without liquid is strictly prohibited.

 

2. Close the outlet valve and immediately check the direction of the pump after connecting the power supply. The direction of the pump must be consistent with the direction arrow of the pump, and reverse operation is strictly prohibited.

 

3. When the pump reaches normal speed after starting, gradually open the outlet valve and adjust it to the required working condition before putting it into operation. When the valve on the discharge pipeline is closed, the pump should not work continuously for more than 3 minutes.

 

 

4. Before shutting down, the outlet valve should be closed first, and then the power should be cut off.

 

5. Regularly inspect the pump and motor, and replace vulnerable parts.

 

6. Regularly pay attention to adding high-quality calcium based lubricating grease to the bearing box to ensure good lubrication of the bearings.

 

7. When not in use after long-term shutdown, in addition to draining the corrosive liquid inside the pump, attention should also be paid to cleaning all components and flow channels inside the pump, and cutting off the power supply

 

8. The pump is strictly prohibited from running without load

 

9. If the medium contains solid particles, a filter should be added at the pump inlet.
